LRCS Christmas Project
Because we want our students to experience the joy of giving, we have a special Christmas project planned! We are going to adopt the School Community of Bellevue, Haiti, which is a Christian school in Haiti. Because there is no public education in Haiti, many children do not have the opportunity of going to school because their families cannot afford to send them. Last year, Pastor Maxo Michel, who is from the school, came to speak in chapel and presented the needs of the school to us. It takes about $100 to send one child to school. Our goal is to raise money to send several children to school where they not only receive a good education, but most importantly, they have the opportunity to hear the Gospel and accept Christ. Your child may bring in coins or dollars to put toward the cost of sending a child to school. We want to collect as many coins as we can in order to send as many children to school that we can!
All of the money needs to be turned in by Friday, December 15. Let’s be a blessing and encouragement to the School Community of Bellevue and see how many children we can sponsor!
If you have any questions, please talk to your child’s teacher!
